Portland Bride & Groom Magazine | 2010

After my "Real Wedding" was published in the 2009 issue of Portland Bride & Groom Magazine, I was asked to be featured in Portland Bride & Groom Magazine again! This time, it wasn't my photographs that were being featured, it was me! :) I was interviewed by Jill Spitznass and my photograph was taken by Matthew D'Annunzio for a feature focusing on advice from industry experts. This interview (seen below) was featured in the Winter 2010 issue of Portland Monthly's Bride & Groom magazine.

Portland Bride & Groom Magazine | 2009

I was honored to have my images featured in a "Real Wedding" in the Summer/Fall 2009 issue of Portland Monthly's Bride & Groom magazine! I photographed Kate & Jimmy's wedding on August 9, 2008 at the Portland Classical Chinese Gardens. Kate & Jimmy were a dream to work with -- which makes the fact that their wedding was chosen to be featured that much sweeter. :)

the [Artistic Guild] of the Wedding Photojournalist Association | 2007

In December 2007, while traveling in Thailand with my husband, I was thrilled to get news that I won another WPJA contest! This time, my winning image from Juey & Erin's wedding has added me to the ranks of the Artistic Guild of the Wedding Photojournalist Association (at the time I won this award, this was the only way you were allowed to become a member of the Artistic Guild division of the WPJA). At the time, there were only four Oregon photographers who had been granted membership and I was honored to join the group as the first female [AG]WPJA member in all of Oregon!

Wedding Photojournalist Association | 2007

Since being accepted into the ranks of the Wedding Photojournalist Association back in 2005, I have been proud to belong to such a prestigious photography organization. Being welcomed into such an exceptionally talented group of international photographers is simply incredible. In December 2007, however, my pride reached new heights as one of my images from Alexis & Andy's wedding was selected as a winning image!
